There have been so many stages that I have enjoyed with Elly, but I think this age has been by far my favorite. Don't get me wrong, there are MANY times I get exhausted, but the good times far outweigh the bad. Some of the random things I love are...
She calls alligators "me-gators." I think she thinks we are calling them Elly-gators.
She loves Target, Walmart, Kroger...pretty much any place we go. She can recognize all of them.
She calls Sam's Club "We-We's work" because she knows Wendy (Brockman) works there. She also will pull out my Sam's Club card and say the same thing since she sees the Sam's Club logo.
Everytime we go past the Nissan dealership she says "Daddy work." She also says that we she sees a Nissan emblem on a car!
She loves her Daddy and gets so excited when he comes home. She runs to the door and squeals in delight. She loves for him to play with her and constantly tells him "more...more."
She thinks boots are cool since her Daddy wears them.
She likes to sleep in her slippers.
She has TONS of stuffed animals, characters, and babies and would sleep with them all if I would let her. When she gets in bed she takes inventory of what is there and what is not.
She is all about Snow White (thanks to Nana!)
She thinks every package that comes must be from Nana and Papa (even though she had only gotten a package from them a couple of times). She also thinks all the books we have must be from them too.
She loves McDonalds and yells it "McDonalds McDonalds McDonalds" everytime we go past one. She also seems to really like Arby's too!
She loves organization. Her Sunday school teachers say that she organizes the room each week.
She loves Barney and all the songs he sings...especially If Your Happy And You Know It and Mister Sun.
She knows on Sunday without us telling her that we are going to church...must be because she puts a dress on.
She is fascinated with buses. She calls them all cupcake buses (I have no idea why...snicker, snicker) and thinks her cousin Brayden is on them.
She LOVES Brayden and Chloe (her cousins) and talks about them constantly. She loves to know that something was Chloe's. There is a drink that Chloe drank when we were in Virginia and I got her some when we got home. She calls them "Chloe drinks."
She loves "uckers" (suckers) and asks for them all the time. She will even put a few in her stroller and stroll them around the house.
She has named most all of her babies. One is Addie...one is Emma...one Mommy...Daddy...Samuel...and even one named Elly!
She shares everything she has with Samuel EXCEPT her baby (her lovie blanket bear)! I don't think she will ever agree for him to see her special baby.
She LOVES her baby brother. She thinks he is pretty cool and wants to hug, kiss, love on him all the time! She loves to run in his room and call "Mamuel Mamuel" when he wakes up from his morning nap. She also loves for him to be in her bed with him. She does not say the S on Samuel and if you try to get her to she will say "S...Mamuel." Too cute!
She thinks her Mommy is the best thing on earth...let's keep it that way!
